A few factors move the final number more than the others:
- Panel count and total square footage — bulk pricing applies on warehouse installs
- Wiring access — concealed wiring runs add labor; surface-mounted is faster
- Transformer setup — one transformer per zone; complex zones with separate switching add cost
- Control system — wall switch is the lowest-cost option; remote, app, smart-home, or voice control add hardware and labor
- Glass system — film-on-existing-glazing is the cheapest path; laminated or IGU smart glass is a more expensive but fully-integrated panel
