Do you handle both the product and the installation?
Yes. Smart View fabricates smart film at our Canoga Park facility and installs with our own team -- no subcontracted crews. One company measures, fabricates, installs, wires, and tests your project, which means one point of accountability if anything ever needs attention.
Do you install outside Los Angeles?
Our installation team serves the Los Angeles metro. For large or commercial projects, we also travel to cities within about a 5-6 hour drive, including Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco, Palm Springs, and Lake Havasu. Outside that range, material-only orders are available by quote -- fabricated glass panels any glazier can fit, and custom-cut film supplied to your local licensed installer.
Can you repair smart glass or smart film that another company installed?
In many cases, yes. Common issues -- a panel that stopped switching, a failed transformer, loose busbar connections -- are usually diagnosable in one visit. We assess the existing system first and give you an honest answer about whether repair or replacement makes more sense.
Can smart glass connect to my existing smart home system?
Yes. We integrate with Lutron, Savant, Crestron, and Control4, and we support voice control through Alexa and Google Home. Simpler setups use a wall switch, wireless remote, or standalone app.
