Smart Glass Conference Room in Santa Monica

Project Overview

Completed in October 2026, this Santa Monica office conference-room project shows switchable privacy across a glass corner partition and a glass wall with a door. The project includes 356 sq ft of smart film with smart panel control. The room is part of a wider office fit-out, and that work is visible around it in the photos: cartons, moving blankets and tape. What the photos document is the conference-room glass itself, first clear and then frosted.

One Room, Two Runs of Glass

The job covers two parts of the room's glass: a corner partition and a straight glass wall with a door. The photos show both the corner partition and the glass wall with its door, with each view recorded clear and frosted.

Clear and Frosted, Same Corner

In the first photo the glass is clear and the office beyond the room is in plain view. In the second, the same corner has been switched to frosted: the glass reads as a milky white, and what is behind it shows only as faint shapes. That is the idea behind switchable privacy glass in a meeting room. It stays see-through while the room is open, and turns into a privacy screen when a meeting needs one, with no blinds, curtains or permanent frosted vinyl on the glass.
